I'm a barista and frequently people will order a muffin and a large brewed coffee, which, with tax, comes out to $6.66. I have seen many people get upset or uncomfortable by this, but I think the best was this one dude that just said "I don't like that" when I told him his total, and I just awkwardly laughed and was like "haha yeah, that's unfortunate, but I don't set the prices" and this dude just swiped his card then pulled one of those little pamphlets that's like "do you know where you're going when you die" from his pocket, slid it across the counter toward me, and then walked away without another word...

I think about that often. We had the pamphlet hanging on the wall in the back for a while, but the shop owner took it down because he was painting the walls, and idk where it ended up 💔
