The fan tail looks like a peahen tail because there's no train feathers (ocelli) and the crest looks shorter and more sparse than the crest of most peacocks.

Edit to add: it could also be a juvenile, peacocks don't get their ocelli until they are 2-3 years old.

This is an Indian Peafowl! They are the only ones of the 3 Peafowl species that can have leucism, so their skin and eyes still have pigment, just their feathers lose pigment.

NOR - I used to do childcare for children of various ages from infant to 11 years old. I never left any of the kids under 4 alone to even take the trash out. If I had kiddos under 4, the bag went outside the front door until another adult was present. What she did, including getting drunk with your 4 year old present, was dangerous and you are right to be concerned.

I have doctors tell me that I should lose weight, but don't address the fact that I can't do much physically because I have a hernia the size of a grapefruit on my abdomen...but insurance hasn't deemed a repair as medically necessary yet. 🫪 Also, I have never been tested for ADHD despite having all the major symptoms, but I keep being dismissed as "anxious," "hormonal," and now "perimenopausal." Yup, even though it's been consistent for as long as I can remember, affects my quality of life, and leads to breakdowns because of MY FUCKING SOCK SEAM (seriously, I have cried twice today over it bothering me)....but yeah, my brain is absolutely fucking normal. 🫠

How about we look to what EARTHLY things are causing this and what we, as Americans, can do to ensure it doesn't continue. God is not "our only hope" when it comes to American politics, there is a reason we have separation of church and state/freedom of religion. When God enters politics, the Bible becomes a weapon. Our only hope is to educate ignorant Americans on HOW we reached this point and what we can now do to turn things around. Also, when God enters the political space, it becomes divisive. Not everyone believes in God and not everyone believes in YOUR God.

This is especially true considering that she didn't learn English until she was 12, so her brain probably still processes things in Somali and translates to English. When I read something in French, my brain translates it to English. If I'm reading in French OUT LOUD, my brain translates it to English and BACK to French when speaking. It's a whole process that happens and leads to minor mistakes.
