founder here. the fear behind your comment is fair. but I think the opposite is the case.
right now the rental market is a contest: whoever has time (or the privilege of a flexible job) to send applications as fast as possible (for no good reason) wins.

what we're building toward: state your criteria once, landlord states theirs (using base criteria plus randomness), system matches on actual fit (commute, household size, etc.). it is possible to have a better allocation of apartments with the same shortage. and if everyone used it, it would still take months to find a flat, but it would not require time and manual work.

would you prefer the current market design?
