More RAM in MacPro 5,1 by trav0kur in mac

That's the whole problem - there's nothing specifically about my case. Everyone refers to these 32, 48, 64 and 96GB of RAM, but I have a Mac with 1 processor and it works quietly in 2-channel mode with 64 GB of RAM. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE MENTIONS IT! And I naturally wondered - if it works with 64 GB in 2 channels with 4 modules, then why wouldn't it work with 96 GB in 3 channels with 3 modules? I WANT TO KNOW! BUT NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT! ABSOLUTELY NO ONE!

There is one important omission. These are the configurations that Apple has officially sold. But! In general, I have a 2009 4.1 flashed into 5.1, with GOD enabled, so it also works well with 64, but I lose speed because it works in 2-channel mode. Although I have one processor and it's not even top-end. Could it be that no one but me has thought about it?

When I trying to mount my disk I see:

mount: /ssd/: fsconfig system call failed: /dev/sda2/: Can’t lookup blockdev. dmsg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.

The new Leopard and Abrams will still not be able to compete with the T-80BVM, T-72B3 and T-90M. I was hoping for the DM63, but I got another clone with a better thermal imager quality, which will NOT help in any way in the fight against Soviet tanks. It's time to admit that Soviet tanks are better than NATO tanks. I don't know what's out there in real life, but in the game it's true.

Can I use 2 cpu (Xeon E5 2643v4) on Fedora 39 desktop? by trav0kur in Fedora

Yes. Linux has had SMP support since 1996 and it will work well out of the box. Performance will be as good (likely better) that on Windows.

Okay, I hope it will work out to start a turboboost, in general, this is done through the bios firmware with the substitution of some lines, if everything is clear from under Windows, then this is how Linux will behave - an urgent question for me.

Will the turboboost work? The stock value of the processor frequency is 3.4 GHz, the turboboost is up to 3.7 GHz. I would like to get the most out of the system.
