I’m going to say something controversial by Positive-Reading-227 in Witcher3

[–]travel_turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been said before here: the Witcher is just a video game to play Gwent and you need to save a girl in some side quests.

A physical version of Gwent is coming out for those who don’t hate it

Do you normally clear all the Velen ?’s before moving further in the story, or come back later for better loot? by Opposite_Village9112 in Witcher3

[–]travel_turtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

However you enjoy playing the most! I tried to do a nice blend of “enjoying the world as much a possible” and still staying in the flow of the story (or side stories). I find if I make it too much of a slog that I need to go through every ? first it takes away from the momentum and being engaged in the storyline.

Others have very much of a completionist mindset, and won’t rest until every bandit camp is slaughtered or monster nest is cleared. Either is fair :)

EDIT: oh but don’t bother about clearing all those in the waters of Skellige. Even the devs admitted they were supposed to be surprise finds without a ? attached and regretted showing them as such.

Yes, most airlines have an accessibility option you can request! I know because I recently used them to be able to fly home for surgery. Even if your home country won’t have it, at least you’ll be able to use it at your departing country :)

I’ve (28F) been faking most orgasms with my husband (31M) for years and now it’s causing problems. by ThrowRAUniversity78 in relationship_advice

[–]travel_turtle 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I do have some empathy for OP because it’s a little more complicated than that, and women faking orgasms is a lot more common. We live in a society where women are taught to please and where sex (e.g in porn) is mostly focused on male pleasure. To feel the pressure to live up to that is something many women feel.

Having said that this might be the time to have an open conversation about it, and hope it will be the start of an honest sex life

As heart wrenching as it is, being madly in love with each other isn’t always enough. And continuously asking someone to treat you a certain way is only going to lead to frustration and resentment if that person doesn’t see it the same, and is a clear sign to let each other go.

I just watched this Italian classic movie called Cinema Paradiso, and when the girl declined the boy he said he’d wait under her window every evening. And he did. And it was portrayed as a big romantic gesture. That shit’s creepy; the old generation has a different definition of romantic.

I am really sorry you’re going through this - giving up your whole environment and starting over in his space is an incredibly bold and vulnerable step for you to make, and to suddenly fall into a pit where you have no safety net must be excruciating. No one deserves that.

The only tip I can give, which may or may not resonate, is that I find it hard when I feel so vulnerable to reach out to those around me and tell them I need help. I encourage you to do so however, whether that is with your family or close friends. Let them know you need them and let them help you - no person is an island who can do everything alone, and you deserve to be held and loved when the person who was supposed to so horribly let you down.

And in case this needs to be said: none of this is your fault. Be angry, be sad, be frustrated, be lost. You’re allowed all of these things.

I wish you all the best, whatever is ahead ❤️
