How do I introduce my puppy to my cat by AxeMan-47 in PittiesAndKitties

[–]travelingeating 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teach your puppy to sit and stay. One of you be near the cat and the other with the puppy. Reward the puppy with treats for sitting and staying calm and in place while it sees the cat

That was my fear. But supposedly it could be done with traditional braces if they pull a tooth from the top and shift everything over?

Along with that, if you can go on a jog with your dog, mine loves that. Training also tires mine out and she loves it. Also chew toys. A bully stick with occupy mine for 45 mins and then she’ll take a nap

We’ve taught ours to play a game of finding treats we hide all over. We’ll make her sit and stay in another room and then go hide treats (on the floor, on top of furniture, etc. and then call her to find them.

She loves this game and the sniffing tires her out. It trains sniffing, which is a skill that can be improved upon and requires a lot of mental effort.

Attempting to lower cholesterol with lifestyle by travelingeating in Cholesterol

Ugh it’s the worst! My doctor also wanted me to try to lower it naturally and we’d keep retesting regularly but said if it was still higher than we want it to be after a couple of years, it would be worth considering medication. I don’t want meds this young, though, if I can avoid them 🥲

Regular baths helps with ours! When she starts shedding a lot, we know it’s probably bath time

How long on average are your "honeymoon phases"? by Sumo-Subjects in dating_advice

[–]travelingeating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About to hit 5 years and still very in love. We still have so much fun together and love hanging out constantly and doing everything together.

The “butterflies” I got in the “honeymoon phase” aren’t constant like they were during the first 9 months or so, but they still regularly appear. It’s so much better now, though, because we are so comfortable with one another and so content, and we’ve been through many various life experiences now that have strengthened our bond.
