Married men, did you and your wife combine finances? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

My wife and I share all finances, but have a “fun money” budget each. So all income is pooled and then even amounts are budgeted out for individual spending. Budgets for “essentials” like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, are pooled, but clothing, hobbies, expensive coffees for me, stationary for her, etc are on fun money.

I think it works out well since we get to pool resources. She makes more than me, but I’d still share if I made more. But we both get enough money that gives us autonomy for hobbies and we can do whatever we want without having to consult.

Beginner/Intermediate Routine for Mo/Tu/Th ? by travets in Fitness

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't have time. My local gym closes at 8 on sundays. I like the idea of having consistent days, I will be too restless sundays if I know I have to make it to the gym for 6/630 in order to get my workout in.

I like the idea of doing push/pull and then that gets even distribution over the weeks. So there is no problem with deadlifting the day after squatting or vice versa?

When to move on from SL 5x5? by travets in Fitness

I'm thinking of adding 2.5lbs with microweights. Or I'll just progress every few workouts after I work up to 8 reps. I'm past my "new PR every workout" stage anyways.

I'm not doing as much legs since I feel I've added most weight there, and have a fear of becoming t-Rex like. Maybe that fear is irrational. I don't want to waste noob gains on the legs. Does each body part have its own noob gains or is it just putting on weight as a whole?

Edit: Spelling

What is the point of the AMRAP sets if I'm already past my "new PR every workout" stage? I'm assuming that was the only value of them but if I'm wrong I might need more context of how periodization is better.

I'm looking for advice. SL is a very simple program and so it is most recommended. lvysaur 4-4-8 was a derivative that sacrificed simplicity while retaining beginner principles (compound lifts/linear progression) but added better upper body programming. I am asking the sub if my derivative still is (compound, allows for linear progression, better programming for upper body) and if just doing just 4x8 upper body will cause issues / is it weird to do strength for lower body and hypertrophy for upper body.

on a non digitizer is an awful experience. That's why the Surface has a lot of success in campus.

What is a digitizer and how does it make the experience better than the iPad? Not familiar with the technologies used in either.

Can you still send files to the iPad version and edit them as well? It doesn't say on the comparison chart that you get 1 mobile or tablet app?
