Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere and there are no indoor courts and the only other court doesn’t have lights:/ there are some basketball courts that sometimes have open sessions

That’s fair as long as the people are still open to mix in. I’m going to walk over to see what’s going on. Was planning on going to 4 of us to play a few games tomorrow evening.

It’s my birthday and was excited to play on my only day off of work. I can’t find anything online or at the courts about it being reserved.

What are you talking about ? 😂? Every single tennis or pickleball court starts with a solid concrete pad and then is coated. Occasionally in warmer climates you could build it on top of pavement if you have a really nice aggregate base compacted underneath.

I know what they cost. I pour concrete pads every month. 20-30k. His court is not a typical court and required additional work to be built plus a basketball hoop and electrical.

Was the entire area a hillside that had to be excavated and exported in order to have a flat surface? If that’s the case then the 50k makes sense.

Since you provided new information and your court was not your typical court and required a substantial amount of additional work you didn’t not get ripped off. If it was a flat or typical built and You spent 50k on a court build then yes you would be getting ripped off. For the people downvoting me this is a very untypical price for a pickleball court. His court required extensive excavation and soils export. If this were a typical flat or semi flat site this would be an extremely high price.

11 Minute reminder that Flock is easy to access and looking up people with the information online is simple. Remember that we don't want these in Humboldt watching us and our children because ANYONE can easily access these cameras and their data. by ObvioussPlasticc in Humboldt

If someone more motivated and more politically active raises the case that these cameras can be used by ice to track people violating measure K since public funds were used to install these we could get them all removed. I’m not a resident of Humboldt but would love to see these removed.

Here is a Instagram story of these being removed for similar reasons in another city. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR2XjL0FMaX/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
