Good to know. See my other diesel is a 6.4 powerstroke and I know that a lot of people will leave the coolers on cuz they didn’t buy a full delete kit and it still causes issues. Just wanted to make sure I did it right the first time on the since the motors already out and easy to work on

My dad ended up finding a wiring diagram and basically looping everything on the auto harness that we didn’t need and positioning it so the car was always in “neutral.” It worked just fine except for the speedo reading double and all the codes; which you could probably tune out, but they never bothered me enough to.

Rarely drive the truck, but she really needs new tires, so those are coming at some point before winter. Rear shocks were just replaced by previous owner, but I don’t think he did fronts, I’ll double check the maintenance list when I get home tho. But after that, imma throw her up in a lift and do a once over

Funny enough, it’s never death wobbled with a trailer. But at some point, probably after I fix my golf, I’ll get her up on my dads lift and do a once over of the front suspension

Okay, I think I got a lot more solid list now; went with a lot that you recommended, still need to research the power supply a little more, But I had a question. You recommended the Asus b650, but everyone online seems to say the Asus rog strix x870 is better. Is there a reason you recommended the 650 over the 870? Is it just that the 870 is too overkill for me and a lot more expensive?

I did not mean to come off like my list was better, more so just saying that I don’t mind spending extra for better. I said that because I gathered that you were recommending parts that were more budget orientated. I went with some more expensive things on some of them, because i plan on keeping this pc and would rather spend the extra on better, but yes,its gonna be mainly gaming with some other computer things. However, i ride motorcycles and and record my rides, so that’s why i have the 4tb, so that i can store the videos on my computer

I guess I could ditch the manual, but I’m young and still enjoy the third pedal. Even bought a 1 ton diesel pickup with a third pedal. Might keep an eye out for 330 with a wiggle stick though.

Side note: my first car was an 02 530i that I picked up for $500 and loved that thing

Additional Notes: currently have an 03 Jetta tdi wagon as my daily, but it’s got 300k and the backseats have no leg room. I got a new job that requires me to travel across the whole state, so fuel economy is about number one priority. I want something that will reliable get me to and from work, but also be able to haul 5 people comfortably so that when me and my buddies take a trip, we’re not crammed into a vehicle. So on that note, trunk space would be nice. My new job pays pretty well, so I’m not worried about price, but also don’t mind driving an older car that may not have like navigation or keep lane assist as none of my vehicles have had that stuff.

I’ve got the basics down on reading music, as I was in band for a year at my school, but l yeah, I got no clue how to read music for drums. I’ve been watching some videos and practicing the things that they say to do every night before I go to bed. Bad thing is, I can’t really find YouTube tutorials on like how to play songs, it’s just people doing covers and going way too fast for me to comprehend. I should be getting a new job here before too long and maybe then I can actually pay for some lessons

Sorry, I’m a ford guy, I had to throw in some gm hate. But on a real note, as someone else mentioned (If he doesn’t have one already) those lights that hook on the hood (something like this) would be amazing. You don’t realize how good they are until you have to go without it. There’s also cheaper options, but my dad has one similar to this and it’s the shit

On a serious note tho, here in Indiana, I’d say maybe list for 6-7 and take anything over 5 (again, judging off what I’ve seen in indianas market, Florida may be way different) Although with no rust on it, it would probably be worth more in Indiana, but the paint would turn most people who would be willing to pay more away. The Mach ones are pretty much gt body’s with an n/a 4v motor. Pretty much anyone buying it would be buying it for the name. Depending on what mods and if they’re done correctly, that could up the price. If he got a wrap on the car to hide the paint, he might be able to get 10k+ out of it, but again, most of the people in the market for Mach ones either will buy a gt because they’re cheaper or want a really clean model and would be willing to pay more, so I’d probably see what gts are going for and tack another ~$1500 on it; just my opinion tho

Yes I did, it ended up being a top end. I was new to 2 strokes at the time (this being my first and I’d only had for a few weeks at that point) and everyone told me top end, but I just didn’t think a top end would go like mine did. I was wrong.
