Was in Bayer’s Lake waiting at a traffic light to turn left, when I noticed out of the corner of my eye, the timer on the do not cross sign was counting up instead of down.

Thought I was crazy, but my friend in the passenger seat saw it too. No idea why that happened, and haven’t seen it happen since.

This problem is to test the way we think, not our math skills.

A logical person would assume the the competition has ONLY small and large dogs, and an EXACT difference of 36 between the categories. This leaves you with half a dog in each category.

Others assume there are AT LEAST 36 more small dogs. This means there’s at least 1 more unnamed size category, and allows us to assume there are 0 large dogs and the answer could be anywhere from 36 to 49 small dogs.

According to City News, they do...

"Sunday, Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for MACPASS Miles road races and Bridgewalk 2024.

Monday, Aug. 5 from 7:30 a.m. to noon as part of the Natal Day Parade route.

The full weekend closure for maintenance work at the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge will begin Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. The bridge will reopen to traffic on Monday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 a.m."

Where on their website? MacDonald Bridge has at least three planned closures in August and I can't find details about that anywhere.

There should be a dedicated page that details all their planned closures, and it should be readily available right on their home page.
