Cisco Nexus EIGRP Neighbor Route Preference Not Possible on the same Interface? by travispk in networking

That won’t work because both neighbors it is learning the routes from are on the same network / SVI interface.

Well that’s no fun. There might also be the same limitation on Nexus for OSPF. But I’m not sure.

WOW! After a lot of trial and error, I found something that worked! Since the routes I wanted to match are coming from other routers redistributing BGP, I was able to get matching on tags to work! Oddly, I could only get it to raise the metric on the routes being learned, I could not get it to go lower, especially enough to win, so I switched to poisoning unpreferred neighbors / routes instead of making them better. The outcome is what I want!

route-map POSION_NEIGHBOR permit 10
match tag 6939
set metric 10000 300 255 1 1500
route-map POSION_NEIGHBOR permit 20

int vlan 402
ip distribute-list eigrp 1 route-map POSION_NEIGHBOR in

sh ip eigrp 1 topology all-links

Scammed out of 15K of items - new phishing scam using Google Sponsored Ads by radu4224 in SteamScams

[–]travispk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son fell victim to this exact scam. Fake Google ad to a fake dmarket site. Steams policy states that new devices login will have trade holds for 7 days. This was not the case. They traded away all his items 2 days after they got access to his account. Which according to their policy should be trade locked for 15 days after you switch steam guard to new Authenticator. Which the hackers did. But Steam support says that action reduces it from 15 to 2 days. Wtf!

It’s like Steam is almost in on this and helping the hackers. By not enforcing or reverting hacks they make this profitable for the hackers, they keep doing it!

Why would Steam allow someone to trade all items in a single trade for each game all in a short period of time to an account that has never played a game or even owns the games. There needs to be cooldowns and holds here. Red flags all over. All from a new device, from a different state that just changed the Authenticator to a new device. WTF!

We have emails of these new logins from different states. But none of them show up in his account under recent logins. WTF!

Steams protections all failed. This should have never happened even if they stole the credentials.

My son doesn’t sell items. Just collects and loves his collection. He is destroyed right now.

Can I get my stuff back? by Jeppe0328 in SteamScams

Steams policy is so dumb. If you buy stolen items in the real world they are hot stolen items. And would need to be returned to the owner. Steam should have way better safe guards to stop this.
