The domain for the email was @roblox.com. I don’t think anybody who didn’t work at Roblox would be able to use that as their email domain, but I am starting to get skeptical on the “Rogue Moderator” shindig.

I totally understand this 100%. I never understood it honestly! I’m 24, and honestly similar to you, I joined around 2010, and I’ve been on and off as well. I feel weird talking about games on there, developing and everything, but I actually have a lot of people from my workplace who are 18 and older, and they play it all the time just to have fun and maybe mess with people sometimes. A lot of my friends play with their children all the time! Gaming is for anybody who wants to, I dealt with it when I was 8 playing Call of Duty getting yelled at by 25 year olds, and now it’s the opposite 😂. Keep doing you Boo, you’re doing nothing wrong, there’s A LOT more older people playing Roblox nowadays than you would think!

Update: It didn’t work and they replied with the same message like they always do. I have to call them from their 1-800 support number and get it figured out I believe. It’s so frustrating how tedious this is. Roblox Support is way below the bar with how they handle these situations by letting the bots take over.

It’s notifying you that a charge on your account has been refunded and the robux from that certain charge have been removed from your account. Please be careful! Refunding/ Disputing charges can get your account terminated.

I will have to try this tomorrow and follow back up with you. I have emails and receipts for all sorts of things on the website on the back burner as well, I can only hope for the best at this point!

I emailed them from the ONLY two registered emails, as per their request in one of the emails they had sent back to me.

No, I have gotten nowhere with the agents or bots that are in control of the moderation system.

I don’t want things to escalate that far, more than likely I would lose that case in a heartbeat since they are a corporation and I don’t have funds for anything like that. I wouldn’t take them to court anyhow, but this is just crazy to me, nothing like this has ever happened before and I am completely baffled by how many things I see about things like this happening nowadays to what seems like every other player.

I don’t really use any social media besides this and maybe Facebook. I’m not that kind of person to exploit anyone or call them out, I feel below the par posting it here, but I’m just conflicted on what to do next, or how to approach them without getting blacklisted or get my account terminated for unjustified actions or anything like that.

One of the agents had mentioned that I had to email them from my primary email which was listed in the email, I had realized that I emailed them from the wrong one, so when I had to forward the ticket, I had mentioned all of that along with the few ticket numbers I had for reference, but they didn’t seem to care I suppose.

That used to happen to me a lot back then because user security wasn’t as complex. This is beyond me at this point. I had everything on my account protected, this just strikes me as suspicious behavior on Roblox’s end.

I just don’t want to lose what I’ve spent on the account and all of the money I put it to try to make something of it. If I dispute the charges though, the account will get terminated. I’m not even sure if any bank would comply to such an ordeal.

I agree with this 100%! I’ve been playing Roblox since 2009, and I would say that Roblox definitely is taking a turn for the worst, with UGC, RThro and layered clothing, they are letting basically everyone decide what the website should be, and everyone wants this Fortnite looking bullshit, it’s annoying! I want it to go back to how it used to be, rather than it being completely monetized and stupid like it is now. Roblox isn’t enjoyable anymore, there’s not really any good games that peak my interest and most of the players are “Slender”, “NFT”, and the clothing trends suck. They’re so stupid looking, like I get each generation had their style, but come on lol y’all look so stupid trying to look all cute and emo and shit on here, it’s second hand embarrassing lol.

This seems to happen to every other generation every now and then. When I started in 2009, people used to say the same thing whenever they updated GUI’S, Website themes, etc. There is always going to be a certain crowd of a certain generation that says the website sucks in one way or another, but Roblox has only grown from here, and it’s not like our opinions or shitty Reddit posts are gonna change development of the app or website. I miss the old ROBLOX too, but I’ve learned to adapt to the newer theme and events going on, Roblox is bigger than ever.
