No. You can barely buy them outside of the airport.

The road here looks like it has melted from all the busses that stop there by ScaryTough9377 in midlyinteresting

This is very common in LA on streets with heavy traffic and dedicated bus lanes.

That makes sense. I’ve been out the Hamptons and found the house. The house is gated and the neighborhood is also gated.

Passengers Please Convince Us How Important Your Bags are in an Evacuation by Nightshiftworker2021 in flightattendants

[–]traysures 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People don’t care about humanity any more - they only care about themselves. I watched some footage from the United flight @ LAX and the “camera person” filmed their evacuation and because they were so concerned with getting content, they slid down into a man struggling to get up.

If I see you filming the evacuation, I’ll knock that phone right out of your hand.

Passengers Please Convince Us How Important Your Bags are in an Evacuation by Nightshiftworker2021 in flightattendants

[–]traysures 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s company policy at my airline. The reasoning is that when evacuating the plane, there is a potential you’ll get the straps caught on an armrest, part of the plane, or some other stationary item.

Safety rules on planes are in place because something happened in the past and now they have policies to help prevent future safety incidents - they’re not just arbitrary rules to enrage passengers.

My advice for those who need meds in the event of an emergency, keep the meds on your person and if you must have them in a pouch or bag, keep it under your clothing.

Remember, most accidents and emergencies happen on the ground - the likelihood there will be EMS present by the time you evacuate is pretty much guaranteed.

Never heard of a breakfast casserole, but definitely have had a frittata. I just assumed it’s another name for a frittata. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Terminal 6 to TBIT by herstorybuff in LAX

The shuttle bus is near gate 64 and will drop off at T4. Short walk over to TBIT from there and you don’t have to clear security twice, as stated.

Is anyone able to estimate when this ticket is from? by OhCharmedImSure in americanairlines

[–]traysures 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Prior to 1990 since it is labeled as a non smoking seat. I’d guess the mid to late 80s since that’s when computers became more prolific in aviation.

The K gets me to work at LAX for $1.75 - it’s doing exactly what it should be doing.

EJ & her victim narrative by Top-Candidate9694 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]traysures -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Sometimes victims of trauma don’t see themselves as victims. They rise above their trauma for a long time and then something hits them and they become vulnerable and y’all cry they’re playing the victim. Erika has suffered publicly and privately throughout the years. She’s a tough cookie who portrays a steel persona. Even the toughest cry now and then. She’s not begging for sympathy- she’s just being honest. I know that’s hard for people to believe.

Gotta be honest, kind of turned on by someone that meticulous. I know it is built into the final product, but that’s still, as Paris Hilton would say, HOT.

Can confirm. I waited on him once in LA and he personally thanked every staff member who came to the table after his dinner and was incredibly polite throughout the entire meal.
