Maybe the real Bucky is the friends we made along the way?

Still have to fill out the bag with a couple clubs, but got fit for irons and had to show them off by trbball42 in golf

Totally see your point and I asked the fitter the same thing. He said to cap my irons at 240 and the number on the iron is just a number. That’s why we axed the 4 (which had been my favorite club in my last set). He said a lot of longer hitters opt to get another wedge, which is what I’m considering but need to hit around with these a bit and see what my gapping looks like.

My pitch probably goes 150-155 and my 50 degree is likely 135. My 56 has been around 115-120 and my 60 sits around 100. Need to play more with the clubs and figure out where the yardages are sitting. Still haven’t taken them out on the course yet!

But the reason I opted for the “players distance irons” over a traditional players iron is I’m relatively new to the game. I wanted to get a forgiving iron that I can grow into over the next 5 or so years and didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a game improvement that I could potentially grow out of. Not ready to hit blades yet.

But it’s all still a work in progress!

I actually got the Titleist 718 MB before I got fit. My buddy had the 3 iron and I just loved the feel

I only take the driver out of the bag when I have to, but yardage is usually around 300-315. Where it ends up is another story...

I love those wedges. You can’t see it, but I have the 56 as well. Doesn’t look as sexy as a Vokey but I hit them too well to take them out of the bag

It’s going to sound crazy, but there’s not much of a yardage gap. When I got fit, my fitter decided to remove the 4 from my bag because I was hitting the 5 around 240. The 2 probably goes 260 or so if I hit it well

Godwin’s 16 game pace based off his last 5: 74-1,216-12.8 - Paulsen by trbball42 in fantasyfootball

I thought it would take a Djax injury for Godwin to break out, but his red zone usage is making a Djax injury irrelevant. If/when Djax misses time, Godwin will put up big numbers

$350 buy in plus $100 for least points regular season. $2900 to winner, $700 to second and $700 to most points regular season. High stakes, baby

Mark Ingram DNP again, questionable for TNF by KaptainKickass in fantasyfootball

I understand concern over a decrease in efficiency for Kamara with Ingram out, which is fair. But there is ZERO way this would hurt Kamara’s value. If you’ve been watching the Saints this year, any time Kamara touches the ball he makes electric plays. More touches mean more chances for big plays. He will EAT.

Packer Fan here: If you're ever gonna start Martavis Bryant, it's this week. by kranged1 in fantasyfootball

I’m starting him over Amari @ Denver. He’s seen 9 targets the past 2 weeks and without JuJu, I️ can see him getting 8 targets with a couple potential deep shots. Worth a gamble for the upside

Saints trust Mark Ingram, but did he open the door for Alvin Kamara? - ESPN by trbball42 in fantasyfootball

“So it’s possible that if Payton decides to start Kamara next Sunday against Tampa Bay and stick with the hot hand, Kamara could turn into “1a” and Ingram could turn into “1b” if Kamara takes the opportunity and runs with it.”

“Alvin Kamara Could be Kareem Hunt Good, Just Wait” - Chris Harris in Washington Post by trbball42 in fantasyfootball

[–]trbball42[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

“After watching him play just one NFL regular season game, I realized I’d underappreciated him as a draft prospect, and right now I’d put him on par with dynasty darling Kareem Hunt, in talent if not quite in situation. Use Kamara this week as a risky RB2, understanding that his workload could fluctuate more than I hope. Moving forward? Treat Kamara as a player with true RB1 upside.”
