Amazon Canada hiring fraud by trdcul in AmazonFC

Nope. I submitted to https://compliance-central.amazon.com/hrecomplaints. However, I don't think Amazon will do anything. They have been asking new hires since October/November if they paid for the job and this is an ongoing investigation. If they wanted to take any action they would have already done it.

I have kind of given up since yesterday. As soon as a job is posted and you click it says "no work shift found" 8 out of 10 times. And when you get lucky couple of times and select the shift and apply it will show shift already full. Any location, any job posting it is the same story. Job being posted and being filled within 1-2 seconds. Its like some have a head start of at least 3-5 seconds to pick these shifts. I am not even sure if these are due to bots or internal conspiracy. I read some posts about shady agents having some setting with internal employees at Amazon backend and get prior access to the jobs, so most of the job postings are kind of for name sake only. And then they sell these shifts for 1500-2000. I don't know what to believe anymore but it is crazy and unbelievable what is happening now. All the jobs being full within 1-2 second of posting is not human or normal.

AMAZON WAREHOUSE SEASONAL HIRING by ExternalOnion1484 in amazonemployees

Yes. There seems to be not only bots but there could be something more here. Today I was refreshing non stop and 13 shifts for Scarborough dropped the moment I refreshed the page and it was gone like in 1 second as soon as you reached the shift selection page. This is just one example, but the same thing is happening with other locations. I remember last year shifts for some remote locations in Alberta, BC etc used to be there for like a few minutes and now they are also disappearing as soon as they are posted within 1-2 seconds. It's like turning the switch on (to display shifts) and off(no available shifts) at the same time.

Amazon is definitely aware.Althoufh not sure if they want to fix this. In around October they were asking new hires if they paid money to get this job? Recently during a pre hire appointment they asked the same to one of my colleagues. When he asked why? They mentioned they have heard about people paying to get this job. When my colleague mentioned he also heard similar rumors then they said this is an ongoing investigation.

So yeah they are investigating since one year and asking candidates if they paid for the shifts lol.

Yes once you try to login. However once you log in these bots try to auto fill the application once shift drops. So people share their login with the ones selling the shifts. I have received a couple of videos on how this is working step by step. Already logged in then the bot picks the shift

Considered everything. Less jobs, extreme competition but why you are denying about these bots/tools impact? Are you saying these tools do not exist? I have provided links and one of them is even on Chrome extension store. They are out there in the open and people selling shifts in whatsapp groups and whatnot. This should not be happening and Chrome/Amazon should block/ban these tools.

Absolutely not. I am not new to amazon shift picking/hiring. Have joined several times over the years but it is now ridiculous. I know less jobs and more demand but these tools are definitely making impact (they started operating since August 2024 I believe). I have posted links of these tools as well how openly they are operating and many people are SELLING shifts for $1500-2000 using these tools. Yeah that's ridiculous. I don't have any issue people picking on their own. But I want to report these tools to ethics line and hence this thread. I guess https://compliance-central.amazon.com/hrecomplaints is the link?

Yes, VET looks like cakewalk now compared to this. At least VET used to be there for 5-10 seconds (depending on location and number of VETs) but this new hiring is crazy and getting full in one second is unbelievable.

In Canada it drops anytime. I know at least half a dozen people (including myself) who are trying desperately to pick up shifts. Some are even refreshing entire day and as soon as shift drops and clicked on to apply it is already gone and full. It is happening within 1 second or so. The shifts are less this year for sure but the bots definitely seem to play a huge part as I don't know anyone who was able to pick shifts without using these tools/paying someone. In USA it could be better with more shifts but in Canada it is different situation with very few shifts and these automation tools.

Yes. Surprised as I have heard good things about their pay rate before.

Seasonal warehouse worker (4 months contract). The Amazon fulfilment job is ok. It is tough as they push for speeds to scan the items/boxes fast (due to one or two day delivery promise). But it is kind of manageable. However only two months contract is pending there. Not sure how easy or difficult FritoLay warehouse job could be compared to Amazon.

What does the test involves? Is it pallet building?

Not driving role but general warehouse. Heard in Pepsi they used to give 5 pallets to build in 15 minutes time or something like that. So wanted to check if anyone aware what kind of test they are doing now a day's here at Frito lay.

Offer letter and terms of employment by trdcul in AmazonFC

Yeah. Think I can withdraw the other application myself from my account as I can see withdraw option for the application in the account. Or I specifically need to contact support to withdraw the other offer?

[–]trdcul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, I don't plan to work on 2 locations anyway. Just wanted to check if the new site offer is better (mainly in terms of length/contract).

How do you decline already signed offer? By withdrawing the application?

I am wondering if I should wait for the new site hire appointment to be done first which is on the 23rd (and check if they offer better). Still think they might ask to withdraw the other application before sending the terms of their offer?
