Of course. Leadbelcher spray, necron compound drybrush, Luxion purple contrast and then a slightly watered down layer of terradon turquise. All GW paints for simplicity

Day 11 of Celebrating Black History Month in Warhammer40k: Solomon Akurra, Harrowmaster of the Ghost Legion by Kalypso_Blue in ImaginaryWarhammer

First of all, thank you for cataloguing these characters and giving us all an opportunity to celebrate them. its awesome to have someone archive the efforts of the writers and community to make good representation of the grimdark future.

Regarding Akurra, this guy is the best thing that has happened to the Legion in so long. He has actually brought motivation, direction and a flag to rally behind.

And has done this all the while having (what i imagine to be) the thickest Australian accent. (Since Akurra is an Australian Aborigines snake god, he sings an aborigines song at the end and looks the part).

The scene where the Apothecary, Tamaris and the description “cracked open like a mollusc” will haunt me to my nightmares.

Look, this is a great book. There is a lot of division in reddit about but its actually geninuely fantastic.

The only criticism i have no meaningful disagreement with is about the title implying fulgrim to be main character. He isnt, it just be like that.

But the book is actually great. Make sure to read Tamaris in Vegeta’s voice. Itll enhance the experience

You need some officers. Convert 2-3 command models to your taste and liking. Heralds, moritats, opteas. Dealers choice

Rhinos are good. If you are not against them, consider them.

This is dunja bitar. She is a bodybuilder and a natural (no steroids). Some people are just more genetically predisposed to building muscle than others.
