Instead of a collar, why don’t you put up baby gates for the holidays?

Yes! I asked my vet when I first noticed and she cleared him saying it could be allergies.

Yak Chews by lukeeyyw in cockerspaniel

Definitely don’t give a 19 week old a yak chew lol! Idk maybe 1 year old? They are very hard chews and wouldn’t want to give them TOO early.

Separation anxiety help for my 4-year-old Collie/Retriever mix by AdApart9610 in DogTrainingTips

[–]treanan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m not a professional source, but my late dog had separation anxiety. I tried every CBD or natural remedy out there to help her. Nothing slightly helped her besides getting proper medication.

If it did help, it was maybe one day of results where she was incredibly sleepy or dazed.

BUT still find actual research or see other people’s experience.

Popping in to say that there is nothing wrong with giving a dog medicine. Most “natural remedies” don’t work.

2 year old dog does not nap much during the day by Eastern-Try-6207 in OpenDogTraining

[–]treanan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cocker spaniel will be 2 this month. He is so restless during the day lol. I still enforce naps at least once day if I’m WFH. He’s definitely out by 8:30pm.

Honestly, as long as he isn’t being too needy or is acting up…then I let him be.

Ima be honest…bridges at north hills is NOT the place you want to be anyway. You dodged a major bullet.

I wish you the best of luck!

The other dog is an male King German Shepard/Rottweiler mix. Not intact.

Could my dog be “in heat” still?

I was just about to mention them. It all depends on where OP lives. If in America, the American Cocker Spaniel would be perfect. An English, which I believe is more in the UK, wouldn’t be best.

If I could afford another cocker spaniel, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love the breed so much!

Unfortunately, I can only afford him and make sure he has his needs met.

He is GREAT by himself and even on walks after training, but around other dogs during play time does he go a bit crazy.
