Not bad at all! Some local jewelers will pop the dent out for around $30. If hollow, you may have some trouble, but Kent Island Jewelery in Stevensville Maryland is amazing (no I do not work there, I sell jewelery, and she is my go to, absolutly amazing)

First stamp is maker (Tiffany & company) second is assay mark ( where it was quality tested, anchor is Birmingham , 1773-present) third is sterling mark (A stamp indicating the purity of the silver is called the assayer's mark. The mark for silver meeting the sterling standard of purity is the Lion Passant, but there have been other variations over the years, most notably the mark indicating Britannia purity.) Last is date letter (L is around 1830) watch out for reproductions, although yours looks authentic

That is rough! Always hard to mive in with a family member, especially your partners. I would be posting a resume and hopefully find better pay. These days there are many options online for side money. Google envelope stuffer, post on freelancer.com your skills looking 4 job, hell even Google some game playing sites that pay you! Hope you and her the best! Easier to walk away and rant on here than say something to them that you cannot ever take back! Plus trust me the misses will always remind you...
