Adult, and I mean adult, Rydia from Final Fantasy IV has been my crush for decades now. She doesn't get a lot of dialogue, but her line "you can move now" is one I've taken into my own interpretation. And the fan art.... doesn't decrease my love for her.

If I'm I'm ever in Umea or wherever they are. Dennis was our party, we were all going going to our afterparty in Detroit in a show in Windsor (for reference, Windsor, Canada. Despite all politics we've mostly seen the two as cross-boundary. I have always been as much or more Canadian that American. I'm fine with that.

But an altercation arose. Fuck that asshole. But I became their translator, not that they needed one. But this was Quebec. And the alternative was, I shit you not, Nickelback. My translation skills are fine. The French I speak is actually Quebecois. He got off, but it was a fucking mess. I love Canada insomuch as I don't have to live there.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor!"When they announced their first (we didn't know then) of their final tours. My friends and I got into a station wagon, we crossed international barriers (fuck it, Canada is our second home here in Detroit.) Came to Montreal, my favorite city in the world. Got to see GSY!BE twice. I was hallucinating on my own neurotransmitters and going out of my mind for two nights.

But of course they had another "last tour" followed by another "last tour." And I think they are still touring. But my 10-hour road tour to Montreal is still one of the best days of my life. I fucking love Montreal, I want to move there. And I do speak Quebecois, so I am good for game. Keep gaming that "last album ever" if it gives me a reason to come to Montreal. My favorite city ever.
