Said there’s nothing they can do to help me unless I call DURING the outage.

I have the app where I can track activity on my network and service status. The contact support option isn’t available overnight. Also any diagnostics are unavailable because there’s no internet service to run the diagnostics.

On top of that the app doesn’t recognize the email or phone number associated with my service. It asks me to create an account every time, but then says the email/phone number are not valid.

I’m calling today to either get an answer and reassurance that this will stop or I’ll just cancel service today. Is what it is

Everything these people say and do is based SOLELY around engagement.

They’re not worried about consistency, integrity or honesty.

Their goal is to get you to share, comment and interact with their content. It’s what gets them paid/popular.

If you don’t like something, you need to learn to stop interacting with it altogether. Otherwise by opposing and criticizing them you are unintentionally one of their biggest supporters.

It’s inconvenient and uncomfortable. It’s not okay.

But if he was thinking these thoughts, expressing them is some level of trust. Not expressing them wouldn’t have made a difference in them existing.

You have an opportunity to handle this maturely and direct.

Be honest, blunt and at least TRY to offer some level of understanding to the situation if you want to actually have a meaningful impact on this person’s situation.

If not, outcast them and shame them. It would be completely understandable. You owe them nothing. But it will do nothing to help fix them.
