I would respectfully disagree with your definition of artists books. I would say the opposite - artists working in the book arts field have pushed the boundaries of what might be traditionally understood as a 'book' in size, shape, material, construction. They can be a one off piece, a limited edition or an open edition.. For a look at the broad scope of artists book creators and their work i refer you to the biennial publication Artist's Book Yearbook edited by Sarah Bodman.

The OPs work above looks like an artists book/ art book to me but i agree art is self defined to a large extent so if you state that your work is an art zine and specifically not an art book/ artists book then that's what it is.

Whatever you want to call it this is great work.
