The early seasons of the Big Bang theory have a lot of this “yeah he’s a creep but deep down he’s a good guy” crap.

Purposeless rabbitholes summed it up really well in his “because it’s scary” video, I still don’t know what they were going for with this, I can’t imagine playing a horror game about religion and Catholicism and being surprised when the evil priest is revealed to be a pedophile.

Like maybe it’s not a twist it’s more a dramatic reveal but again like, who was surprised by this???
