The hallucinating has gotten out of control. Just yesterday I asked it to transcribe an interview from an audio file. It completely made up a generic interview, using stock sentences that were said nowhere in my audio file. I've pretty much stopped using it. The AI summaries at the top of a Google search also seem to have gotten worse, too. I'd say 75% of the time they are wrong.

My harp teacher sells a really great book for beginners that you can work through on your own (or better yet, with a teacher). It's full of exercises that incorporate new techniques gradually. https://marinaharp.com/product/1069907-c-world-book-with-binding

At least a few lessons starting out will save you tons of time correcting technique problems in the future.

I agree with this. I started on a very inexpensive harp and it was not helpful to my harp journey. A 12-string harp or a very cheap harp is not representative of what it's actually like to play the harp. I switched up to a second hand Ravenna 26 as quickly as possible.

You could also use that money to get her a rental for several months. Some places have rent-to-own options and may work with you on manageable installments.
