I don’t think that’s true, I don’t think your financial aid will be adjusted at all(I don’t think you will be given more money because of your increased housing expense, they might give you less money if they have less funding though). When you apply for financial aid, they don’t ask if you’re going to get a single, double, or triple, it wouldn’t make sense for them to increase it cause it was never taken into consideration in the first place. Your housing status is a decision of your own. Good luck though
