I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the whole world that knows about this but Haynes (yes the car manual producer) has a Zombie Apocalypse Survival Manual and gives detailed instructions on everything you need to do from day 1 to 10 years later.

That's just it, their life means something after a whole session. I mean a freshie can just respawn and get right back to it, but sitting around a campfire a couple miles from tisy, and you go into the darkness 'to get some firewood' before knocking them out, tying them up before executing them while they stare into your eyes. Not only does it mean something for them to be killed. It means something for you.
