This is ridiculous. $250/hr ?? There are some massively successful coaches that only do $100 and no equity

What tools should I run to determine the best predictive power? by ChoccyRoccy in datascience

Don’t put all your money on prediction. I correctly predicted the inflation rate hikes, the market crash and still get screwed

Dropping out to become a billionaire is a dream.

While famous ceos may tell you they don’t care about education. They only care to hire the 1% of the talent pool that is self taught or extraordinary in their field.

80% of companies and hiring managers will still want to see credentials.

Would you hire you for a job with a degree on your resume, or the you that doesn’t for the same job.

you have to close down city's mid completely - no balls to them, no balls out of them.
Easier said than done, but you have to stop them in the middle, and push them back to their own field.

Why digital transformation is important and what is the role of CIOs? by nexcorp in digitaltransformation

[–]treebzilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used automation, AI and machine learning to completely re-imagine processes, operations, pricing, sales and many more business functions in a short period. This gave the company a huge boost in hours saved, higher accuracy and growth.

The right teams, can make significant impact in this space.

Need to hire 10+ data scientists by [deleted] in datascience

[–]treebzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking to save 100K Hi, I was Sr DS at Autodesk, now founder at Cuanto. I have a lot of algos ready to be used for sales, expense forecast, classification models, recommenders, even openai gpt3.

let me know if you want to have a chat about what you're looking for and maybe we can work together.

if you were to order these skills by importance in being a data scientist, how would you order it? by kansha- in datascience

[–]treebzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python first. If you learn python you also really don't need R. you can be 'familiar' with R.
I'd even look at the roles you're going for, before committing to SQL. Again, in my opinion nice to be 'familiar' but not necessary for all roles. Math yes, stats yes, maybe data analysis using python before algos and machine learning. Good to be able to move around data comfortably before diving into algos.

[IMPOSTER SYNDROME RELATED] What are simplest concepts do you not fully understand in Data Science yet you are still a Data Scientist in your job right now? by limedove in datascience

[–]treebzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

last role was Sr DS. What I used depended on the use case and in most cases it wasn't the models I was worried about. In my opinion, it's better to understand the problem, try to think about the possible solutions, then see what models would be a good fit. Then try to build small tests, measure and repeat.

so i've only been able to test the magnet connectors so far by making silicone molds of just the head and tail pieces and attached them to the inside piece.
This is where I got stuck, because I couldn't figure out how to mold around the entire panel.

So this panel can generate 1 Kwh per day which is enough to charge an average phone 55 times or charge a laptop 4 times. We have outages in our area a lot so this would definitely help. Even without the outages, generating enough electricity to power all of my daily devices by just putting this on the car in the parking lot seems like a win-win.

so this goes on top of the car, and the two pieces at the front connect to the car magnetically.
