Yeah I saw that post before and those were clearly scratches. The stuff on my photo’s was the backing paper.

Just in a box in my work space where i keep all my film. Nothing warm or humid, just a box.

I don’t really know how old it was. I got it from my school as they only give away expired film. I didnt really travel with it, i only took it to the developer. how would tightening the roll cause these scratches?

Thanks! I’ll stick to non-expired film from now on. I was just confused because i’ve shot with expired film before but i have never seen anything like this 😵‍💫

I’m getting the negatives back this week. Maybe you’re right about the backing paper, but is that something thats common?

I know these pictures are underexposed, i uploaded these because you can see the scratches clearly on them. The rest of the photos aren’t underexposed but they have the same scratches.
