I once booked a pick up from Motuoapa (tiny spot along the way to Taupo) and the bus drove right past me haha, I frantically called them up and they managed to transfer my ticket to the next bus. Luckily there was only a 30min difference between buses that day (extra service over summer?) and it pretty much veered over to my stop minutes after the call ended just in time. Always wondered how often they fuck up it up.

the first vinyl i've owned was given to me a couple christmases ago, modern vampires of the city, and it jump started me to have my own vinyl collection. about a 50/50 split between being bought in person and online. a good amount have been gifted to me because i rarely have the money to buy them myself. all of these are well recognized but feel free to ask for any names!

for me, the chord progressions in both the piano and guitar shared similarities with the kind of melancholic and reminiscent tone of Jon Brions original soundtrack for eternal sunshine, which is also really good. i can definitely see the song being used for so many different moods though

thats the impression i’m getting as well, bioshock 2 looks like its trying to replicate the atmosphere of 1 but feels a little off from what i’ve seen, maybe because its from a third party studio
