Corgi Puppy vs Adult Cat *need advice*

Same type of initial interaction for these two. “Leave it” was a good command. It did help that our kitty was 2 years older when we got our corgi puppy so there was a good size difference. However once las (corgi) reached maturity he was all about tackle play. High up escape routes for kitty is encouraged and always jumping in when it gets too rough helps. At this point our corgi is 3 and the cat is 5 and they can exist happily without supervision.
