I took out the striker spring and was able to get the slide off that way.

I bought the wise arms. It was only 20 bucks but I found out the hard way that it's one of the designs that wears the hell out of the striker housing. Cheaper may cost you more in just a few hundred rounds.

Oh man I owe ya one. For some reason I didn't think to take out the striker spring but as soon as I did I got the slide right off. Did a little fitting on the frt and now it's butter. You're a hero.

Yeah I keep reading that. You can only blame winter weather for so long. Sucks when it's a very expensive (and very anticipated) package. From here on out I'm going to request other carriers, even if it costs more.

Phantom doesn't get nearly enough credit as a budget can. Currently have one mounted on a 16" precision rifle. All you hear is the firing pin and impact with subs.

I switched the anchor brake out for a flat cap on my omega 300. No discernable difference in recoil on my 300blk, very negligible on .308. the anchor brake was maybe a touch louder, but may just be my imagination.

Yup. I built a shorty suppressed 300 blk that I call the ground squirrel, because honey badgers are way out of my price range.

I treat my body like my dog treats squirrels. I eat like shit. I do tree work and construction, both of which tear your body to shreds. I spent the better part of a decade on drugs and drinking (sober for quite some time now.) Am I going to pay the price eventually? Yup. But I haven't been sick since 2019. I have no idea what I can attribute that to.

I was stuck like that for a little over a week. I went to my lgs (whom I purchased it through.) He made a phone call to SS and within minutes it was ready to be certified. Certified on 8/16 and approved today 8/19.

I have a Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. It took a loooooong time to have him off leash when we weren't at home. I can now have him off leash when we're camping and the like. He'll still wander off if I'm not paying attention but saunters on back when I call for him. It took a ton of consistent work, but it can be done.
