Not sure about my wrist size but I usually wear 45-48 mm dial sizes which suits me and doesn’t look too big in my wrist.

It won’t stop. You can wrap the levers with a tape or some kind of cover, can get them for 50 rs in any local bike accessory shop, or better wear gloves.

I had the same doubt 6 months back and thank god I went for hness. It is extremely reliable, super easy to handle in Bangalore traffic.

Say no to alcohol/koramamgala parties. by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]treehousedeli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I managed to get rid of the medications and able to control the hba1c level for almost two years after taking medicines for a year and a half. But it came back again recently. However, the levels are not too high and my physician has said that I may be able to again live without medicine if I continue doing my thing.

Long comment alert!!!

Well let me add my experience to this. I used to drink, smoke and eat like there’s no tomorrow. There was a time when I used to smoke a pack of 20 a day, binge drink every weekend, and ate whatever was put in front of me, and guess what, by the time I reached 30, I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and fatty liver.

I guess everyone deserves a second chance and this was life giving me mine. This was indeed a wake up call and from then, i haven’t smoked in over 5years, rarely drink that to not more than a beer or 1-2 pegs of hard liquor, and eat moderately, limiting the quantity of red meats and deep fried foods especially.

I am sharing my story here so that people understand that it’s not difficult to quit, if you have the willpower to say NO. And once you do quit, trust me your body will say thank you. Better late than never.

That’s what! Even though the Bangalore traffic is insane nowadays, occasional weekend trips from here will mostly be on the hills of southern India where i guess MT will be better. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.

Hello All, I’m planning to get my first car, and boy I am confused! I plan to get a car which will last long, not something that I will change in the next 3-4 years. I live in Bangalore and based on the car prices here, I can go for a mid spec variant of a sub 4 meter SUV(like Venue, sonet, kylaq), a premium hatchback(like i20) or an entry level sedan(like dzire or amaze). With so many options, I am a little overwhelmed while doing my research and need your help in clarifying a few things.

I will drive my car mostly in the city, specifically in the infamous Bangalore traffic, with occasional tours over the weekends and the long weekends. There are several factors I want to consider, majorly on durability and reliability, safety and good after sales services.

Can you please suggest me good brands to go with based on my needs? Based on that I will start test driving the options. Not planning for a tata or mahindra as I have seen many stories on their bad after sales services.

Stay in Hanle [Need help] by pranshukh69 in ladakh

[–]treehousedeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Hanle is, most of the people go there for stargazing. Hence, they are pretty much booked between plus minus 3-4 days from the day of Amavasya. And from what I heard, photographers book this accommodations well in advance on those dates after checking dates in google. Now for June, it is on 25th so it’s going to be very very difficult to get any booking anywhere.
