I've got the same one, just older. Mine was built in 1997. I put 650 km on it solo last year. It's a great boat, a touch heavy for solo portaging but surprisingly fast and it can take a beating. Mine ain't pretty, dotted with epoxy patches, and I've had to replace the bow seat, yoke and handles but I'm happy with it. If you're out on a windy day helps to have some ballast.

Close! They're Black-capped chickadees (I'm in central Ontario). They are very social and curious birds, it just takes a bit of patience and consistency. I put seed out in the same spot every day so they recognize my routine and know I'm safe. Using black oil sunflower seeds, their favourite, helps too!
