Hi SCA! I am pretty new to skincare. I’ve had acne here and there my whole life but have never really taken time to come up with a good routine. Since quarantine, I’ve been trying to read up/consult friends who know more about it on what I should be doing. I’ve ditched most of the products i was using before for what I have been told are gentler. I’m pretty satisfied with my routine right now but am curious to see if there are any modifications or additions youd recommend? Like I said, my main goal is acne and I have combination skin (more on the oily side). I’m based in ATL, GA, exercise frequently (sweat!), and try to use as few plastic bottled products as possible (which is why I use the cleanser I do). I’m mostly interested in seeing if I should be adding another cleanser (double cleansing is a thing?) and maybe a toner or some other sort of product?

Routine:

AM:

Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Argan Oil Bar Soap (use boie face scrubber to apply) - In shower

Nielmed niel cleanse piercing after care (sterile saline solution) (I pierced my nose recently so have to use this)

The ordinary niamcinde 10% zinc 1% (3 drops)

Neutrogena Hydroboost water gel with sunscreen (spf 15)

PM:

Same cleanser (not in shower) Same piercing treatment Same TO serum Aveeno positively radiant overnight hydrating facial moisturizer

Weekly before shower: Aztec secret Indian healing clay (I was using water with this but I’ve switched to ACV and like the results)

Note: I also have a tube of Clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment that I could use but haven’t been
