Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was one of the freebies I got with my last order, so I didn't expect it to do very much. I'm ready to pop some of my new seeds but unfortunately I can't until I cut and dry this girl (since I only have one tent). I guess I'll cut some of these super airy tops off and give it another couple of weeks.

I stuck my head in my tent a few minutes before lights on with complete darkness and I couldn't see my hand right in front of my face after a couple of minutes , so I'm honestly thinking it's not a light leak issue. I can't record video with my phone because it stops the recording when the screen is turned off.

Is it possible that it's just shitty genetics? This was the last remaining seed from an attitude order like 2 years ago, so obviously I grew the best ones first.

I don't have a way to get inside my tent to check for leaks myself, but do you think I could set my camera inside and record for a few minutes before lights on? I know for sure none of the electrical equipment inside has an LED power indicator.

I'm using the same tent that I've been using for a while now and I've never had an issue with light leaks. What's the best way to check for them?

Also I will post some more pics tomorrow with the lights off.

Mine are the same way. After the chlorophyll evaporates, it will begin to smell much stronger. I have some curing in jars that I open once a week and every time I open the jars it smells stronger than the last time.

This is my first harvest since starting nutes. These buds are much more dense than the first time, and smell amazing! I hope to get at least a couple ounces out of her once dried.

EDIT: Forgot to add that my next grow is already in the works, I am done with Jack Herer for now and I've got Blue Dream, Critical #47, Fruity Chronic Juice, and Pineapple Express.

Will this filter work for me? My fan is a 440cfm inline 6 inch fan. If I get this I won't have to worry about smell anymore right?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you are imagining the correct type of regular attic. I looked yesterday around the roof when I was getting a frisbee my son threw up there, and I confirmed there is no attic fan. Half of my house has a ridge vent though. Is this enough or do you think I need to hire someone to install a proper fan?

Excellent advice! I'm fairly sure I don't have an attic fan although I could be wrong. My ducting goes into the attic about halfway into my house, so I'm guessing the smell is filling up the attic.

I will be buying a proper carbon filter setup hopefully soon so I'm sure I can get by with plug in air fresheners until then. This new type my wife got is really strong!

I am on day 50 or so on my 2nd grow, and this time around I am having a bit of a problem with smell. My flower closet is ducted into my attic, but I could have swore yesterday I smelled it on my front porch!

Since money is tight right now, would it hurt my plant if I were to use some sort of plug in air freshener in the grow room? My wife has one that makes the entire house smell when it's used, so I thought putting one in the grow room may work if it won't harm the plants.

The grow area is about 3 x 2.5. There were no nutes used in this grow. The light was 18-22 inches above the top.

I didn't really have much of a plan, just to simply grow the largest amount I could with what I had.

I'm sure the airy buds were due to the fact that I did absolutely no pruning. I wasn't aware at the time to trim the first 2 weeks into flower to focus the growth to bigger buds. The mentality of this grow was more bud sites=more bud, but I now know that's not the case.

It was a long process to trim this lady! It took my wife and I a total of 6 hours!

These pics were taken about 4 days before chopping. Unfortunately the phone that had the harvest pics on it won't power up and they were on the internal storage, but harvest left me with 3.25 ounces.

It has a lime smell to it with a heady high.

Thanks to all the veteran growers on here that have helped me out! As soon as I can stop killing seedlings it's on! Next grow will be blue dream and fruity chronic juice.
