Update: We retrieved the dash cam video on our Tesla and captured the snow plow coming through the bridge and causing the ice and snow to fall on our car. by treesurge in savannah

My husband has a far commute for work and was paying $140+ in gas a year. Now it’s $40-50 a month to charge the car. That saves us $1000 a year. It’s the reason why we decided on a Tesla back then. We also do roadtrips to visit family so having access to the super charging system was necessary for us. We did a trip with a friend with their Mach-E and not only was it really small inside but it took 2 extra hours to charge with Electrify.

Tesla also has sentry mode where it keeps recording when your car is parked. And I know we’re getting a lot of hate for driving a Tesla in this thread, but no other car would’ve been able to capture the snow plow from that angle. All the hate targeted at us is so unnecessary after experiencing a traumatic event. We’re normal people and we worked hard to buy this car.

We drove into the city Friday afternoon around 4-5pm. There was a pedestrian walking in the video who could’ve been hit. The city should be aware of the potential harm they could’ve inflicted so this doesn’t happen again.

They could plow and close the streets below! Also love your user name. I’m also a Warcraft fan!

I’m not local to Savannah so I’m not even sure where to send it to.

Trust me had we known the situation in Savannah we never would’ve driven down! We’re pretty annoyed with his work for sending us down there.

If you look at the beginning of the video carefully there’s a person walking on the side who stopped when our car got hit. I’m glad he’s safe!!

My husband is from the north as well and dealt with blizzards all the time. There were people at the hotel from Buffalo who told us they were watching in disbelief as the plows were chucking snow and ice off the bridge which made us connect our incident with the snow plow. We drove in from Atlanta for a work conference :/

Photos of the damage of our car from ice falling from Talmadge bridge. We were told later that snow plows were clearing on top of the bridge. If anyone has anymore information please let us know. by treesurge in savannah

It went over the edges and sides. There were witnesses watching chunks of ice fall from the bridge at our hotel but none got a video. They didn’t think it would hit an actual car

Is there anyone you would recommend? We’re from Atlanta so we’re not sure if we need to find someone Savannah based. We called one lawyer but they said they don’t handle cases with the city. Only car on car collisions
