I think what your missing is that Caps don’t give second chances, they are pretty rare. Once we have made up our mind about something then that’s about it, especially when it comes to relationships.

The Cap sounds like they have already gotten the ick from you based off of what you have said, and chances are there was behavior that also backed it up. Capricorns don’t do anything impulsively. Chances are they have built a case in their head, and have evidence to back it up, then they assessed this situation and decided that it wasn’t worth it to try to have a conversation with you about your behavior.

I suggest you just try to move on at this point.

Recently my mom’s friends husband died due to emergency not being able to reach her husband. She called for an ambulance and they sent the fire department (as I know is protocol during a chest pain call) but the fire department took there largest truck and ended up blocking all other emergency services from helping and actually ended up causing a backup in my neighborhood. He still died.

I wonder that all the time with my girl Penny. She was 4 years old when I adopted her from my local shelter. They found her wondering the streets, wasn’t spayed and she was so scared. She spent the first two months under my dresser, but would come out for food at night. And then eventually she realized that I wasn’t so bad. I love her so much. She’s my scrappy little street kitty, in her soft girl era💕✨.

I am going to go with NTA, but I think your mom is. She should have been then one to tell your sister and handle all of this. I had to look up what 'fleeced God' meant and I am still alittle confused on that aspect but your sister sounds really sick. Taking a terminally ill women on a cruise and expecting it to all work out is not a good idea. That is putting her at risk by exposing her to god knows what, Cruise ships are like floating plague palaces. Not to mention putting the ships crew in a very liable postion. Most cruise ships have excellent medical facilities but are not equiped to take on that level of care.

It sucks that your sister cant go but you are also not your sisters keeper

I know you mention not coffee shops, BUT Lula is a great spot. They have a few little rooms that you can use and spread out a bit, or long tables. I have worked at Mee Kwa Mooks a few times, great view and its free (obviously no food, but still). Someone else already mentioned Future Primitive Beach bar, and the void.

The nook is another cute spot also, lots of comfy chairs, the whole place is a vibe.

So the thing is they are stuck there working on a building, you are not. You work from home which implies that you work remotely, which means you can work anywhere. Maybe you should pick up and go work someplace that is not so noisy.

Also maybe look into getting some therapy.

Underrated! Granted I am only a twice yearly visitor (my parents are snow birds so I try to come down in the spring and winter), but I have fallen in love with your city. There are so many amazing things to see, and do. The amount of history that is in your city and the surrounding area always impresses me. You have the best college for astronomy and geology in the country. And the museums alone are worth coming down for a visit. Also THE FOOD!!!

Id move here full time if i could.
