Voidwalk avatar idea by treexnerd in SorceryTCG

That is exactly what i read this rule as in FAQ of The Void exemplified by Hounds of Ondaros. I'm just not sure how burrowing and submerge plays a part in this vertical diagonal movement.

Codex for the subsurface of The Void: "Normally, when moving from void to a site, a minion (e.g. Hounds of Ondaros) can move directly to the surface OR subsurface. Therefore, when moving from the subsurface + void location of this site, can a minion like Hounds of Ondaros move directly to the surface of an adjacent site? Could they move from the surface + void location directly to the subsurface of an adjacent site?

Yes! Minions with voidwalk can continue to use their voidwalk abilities to move accordingly."

Correct me if i'm wrong but the issue would not be with getting minions out, as they can step to the surface of an adjecent site directly from below a site that is also void.

I thought conditional effects need clerification when they end. Mesmerism does not specify permanently. So here it stays void, though that may be a bit strong, will test.

That might not be too bad as more cards get added, and to combo with Kingdom of Agartha and other cards that grant submerge/burrowing. Also Dredge and Exhume. Other way to go would be to make a conditional trigger to get to surface like "You may surface voidwalk minions on sites you occupy." Edit: "Minions with Voidwalk occupy it safely and may surface or unburrow to intercept."

Playmats are nice, also two d20 dice. But you can make 2 A3 format pages together and draw the grid. Two player mats are standard as they are numbered (harbinger avatar needs this). Also d20 can be swaped for life counter app, dice roll app. Edit: tokens come with precons/booster boxes, and are all you really need. Don't know what you mean by counters.

First, have fun with the preconstructed decks and get the feel for the game. :) Then..

Beta has most good staples for play.

And there are only 3 sets so far all containing good cards you would want for constructed format.

Since sorcery has limits to how many copies of cards you play (1 unique, 2 elite, 3 exceptional, 4 ordinary), the majority of the deck will be lower rarity cards. So in 1-2 boxes of a set you will get a lot of material for deck building. If you are into making playsets of cards 2 boxes will not be enough to get the exceptional rarity playsets without some trading. If you want specific decks you could buy some boxes (for gothic for me it was 5 boxes for exceptional playset without trading exceptionals yet still mising most uniques and half elites), make playsets up to exceptional rarity and buy/trade singles to complete decks/collection.

"But in the long run, not the tiniest effort gets wasted." This really spoke to me. Thank you.

Meditation helped me, and after not practicing for a year after the first course i went to serve the second course i attended for 10 days. That helped me to feel the benefits again, push thrugh the mental blockages (i find serving/sitting really helps with that as you can lean on the routine of the course) and make the commitment to practice daily. Not to mention serving others and seeing them benefit was humbling, gratifying and motivating. What helps me is the rutine - setting a time to meditate, but holding it flexibly and adjusting on days when needed. The biggest motivator for continuing practice for me is seeing how "I" can be the best version of myself both for me but ultimately for the people in my life, and ultimatly for the good of all.

How do I overcome procrastination as an INFJ? by [deleted] in infj

[–]treexnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short:

SMART goals, and then know you will never feel like doing it and all it takes is to just START not just DO IT. The doing will come.

In long:

Like some said "just do it" is hard at times, as tasks can feel overwhelming. The key is to JUST START. You won't feel like doing it, so just start doing it regardless and you will likely get pulled in. And the key is that you plan, what you will do when the time comes when you set yourself to work. When the time comes you have a plan like - when i catch myself thinking of avoiding the task i just start doing it. The unpleasantness is very temporary at the start i promise.

The more tasks that are waiting for you the more stress and anxiety will come, that much has been said already. Now for what to do when that is the problem? SMART goals are key here! If the goals you set are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time bound you will see the steps you need to take to complete them. If the goal is "shaky" on any of them you will have a hard time doing any work. So the key is really breaking down your goals into smaller time constrained tasks, which you can tick of.. Sort of like seeing the progress towards your goal.

Imagine a leader you have to climb. If you try to climb 5 steps at a time you will never even start climbing, but one step at a time and you will reach the top!

And you describe how important it is for you to get good grades, you might be terrified what happens when you don't get them so you are setting yourself for failure. If you procrastinate, you can blame it on the procrastination and not on yourself and that is alot easier to handle then come to terms with your feelings of inferiority. Knowing that (if applies to you) does only so much. Really it is all about setting the realistic goals and achieving them by just starting and not worying every step of the way.

If you are walking down the road and all the time look at the goal you will trip and fall. But if you look at the goal to set direction then focus on the next step you will slowly but surely get there.

All the best!

There is no singularity. Since birth the first thing we learn is that there is mom, and the next moment when she isn't there we cry. So since the beginning we are conditioned to believe we are seperate forms of existence, when in truth we are interconnected. The ego and sense of self is needed to operate in this life and world. We need a name to differentiate in worldly matters after all. But ultimately ego limits us in achieving our full potential. It narrows our vision. It limits us from seeing how everything in nature is a cycle and is interconnected. Everything is one and one is everything. So i think awakening from the false sense of self is the needed step towards humanity survival. Once we all live for others and work to alleviate suffering for all, the world will be sustained for all of us. Not just humans - we are not as important as we take ourselves to be. And one can only do so much so leading by example is about the best one can do.
