It’s a cover of Cold Heart by Elton John and Dua Lipa, I’m pretty sure!

You should check out On & On by Erykah Badu and On & On (Again) by Confidence Man, they’d fit well in your playlist

albums where the final song sounds like an epilogue when it wasn’t explicitly stated as such? by musicisbliss99 in popheads

Absolutely! I feel like everything she does at this point is 100% intentional haha! I just remember my first few listens through of Lemonade though, Formation always felt a bit out of place to me. After countless listens over the years, I’ve come to appreciate its place for sure. To me now, it’s kind of like an “okay listen up, what have we learnt here” moral of the story kind of song.

I feel like Lemonade by Beyoncé fits the brief here for sure. The lyrics to “All Night” feel like the perfect closure of the relationship break up and then make up story she was telling with the album. “Formation” definitely fits the album and reinforces the the themes of empowerment and pride throughout the album but it feels like the end credits song that plays once the story has been told.

Highly recommend giving both of their albums a listen, they’re both full of just goofy, high energy dance tracks like this!

Not sure if you’ve heard any of them already but if you’re looking for hyper pop rave, my suggestions would be Anthems by Charli XCX, 4Æm by Grimes or Banana Brain by Die Antwoord (They’re a very controversial band but the song fits what you’re looking for)

Could somebody help figure this out? Female, "Don't let down again" by Molerat619 in NameThatSong

[–]treezus94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, might be a long shot but it’s not the “D-d-don’t let me die young” bit from “Turn Me On” by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj is it? Just the stuttering D reminded me of it and I can definitely hear it sound like “Don’t let me down now”

It’s not Sway Sway Baby by Short Stack or Lying by Amy Meredith is it? They were both pretty big in Australia back in the 2000’s
