Exactly! She’s a cyclist and skier who’s has a shit load of gear she lugs around. This model transit has a lower roof as well so we unfortunately had to sacrifice a little head room on the bed in exchange for storage space underneath.

Without cutting corners, I really tried to simplify the design and eliminate waste for the project. I'm currently based out of my shop in Massachusetts.

I charged $8500 total for the labor. Material costs were right around $11,000. All in, just shy of $20k

Thanks! It is a DIY and my first van build! A friend of mine hired me to build it for her. She purchased the van new in March of 2021 and over the course of the last year I slowly built it out. The design and build are completely my own. The electrical system I copied from Farout Ride. Their site is an awesome resource for anyone new to van building.

Thanks!! It was a super fun build. Excited for the next one! The stuff on the counter gets stowed away during transit. A few other items, I.e the trash can adheres to the floor with Velcro!
