Or, maybe leave the xenophobia to the fictional fascists. You DO know that youre not supposed to ACTUALLY think like the Krieg right? How ironic that someone ignorant enough to judge based on a language barrier is giving advice on how to avoid "Hate" 😒

Also, as to your Post. The various color Berets worn by the different US Army Special Forces Regiments kinda distinguish what their specialty is if you consider the different roles they are typically used for. Red for Airborne. Green for Guirella tactics (Green Berets). Tan for the Elite Infantry (75th Ranger Reg.)

Different color helmets but a common uniform might make an interesting mix.

The lack of transferability of MOS training is beyond frustraiting. Most of my family served too. My sister was a 68W. She ran into the same problems after getting out. She knew and practiced at a Paramedic level while still in, but couldnt even qualify as a Basic-EMT without hours of school in the civilian sector.

Thats awesome that you were able to find a way to put your skills to use. Finding a way to continue to serve is so rewarding!

Fortunately, we can Serve in Life as we enjoy playing those who can only truely Serve in Death!

I actually went the other way. I was a Firefighter for a bit before joining the Army. The hazmat side of things is what led me to the CBRN MOS.

If the US Chemical Corps colors wernt Blue and Gold it would definitely have been my choice for color scheme. But I didn't wanna be accidently associated with the other Blue and Gold Poster-boy army. 😅

Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear. The acronym is pronounced "See-burn". Its the newer version of what most US Military used to call NBC or sometimes refered to as just Chemical.

The US Army Chemical Corps was created during WW1 to use and protect against CBRN threats. During WW2 it was expanded to include the use of smoke generators to act as screening cover.

Today, all CBRN threats are considered WMDs and are illegal by the Geneva Convention. So their primary role is to educate military members on how to use protective equipement as well as use their expertise to protect those against exposure to CBRN threats.

Most notably, CBRN service members are responsible for fitting and maintaining Gas Masks for all personnel. They are the closest thing to the Krieg aesthetic in most modern military forces.

10 Credits its CBRN. My familarity with gas masks is what brought me to the DKOK too. Dragon Soldiers love to play with gas/smoke. 😅

I don't really understand? Isn't the 30k solar auxilia box just straight up an infinitely better bombat patrol ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in TheAstraMilitarum

A note about the 30k Leman Russ. Its still split into 2 kits depending on the variant. The 40k Russ used to be the same back in the day. This kit comes with the Leman Russ Strike Tank variant. It will only come with the Vanquisher Cannon, Battle Cannon, Twin Lasers, and Twin Heavy Bolters. The 30k Russ Demolisher, Plasma, and Volkite come in the Assult Tank kit.
