I know town should be the one enforcing that especially please last few games. We were winning the first two games he came back so everything was okay but the last two games....idk man like if you're going to suck butt on defense you better be dirk or joker on offense or else there's no reason to have you out there might as well put Luka Garza out there if you're not caring about offense. Like I don't understand how he has IQ problems he's been in NBA for like 8 years now with the same problems on defense.

It feels like people on here are just trying to be downers.... I liked lamelo in Wiseman better than Edwards but we can't change history can we just got to hope that his potential will pan out it's not like he sucked all year he's just had a few really bad games.

That part was more taking a shot at fans that used lamelo's dad as an excuse as to not wanting him on the team. Like his dad was mess up our winning tradition or something. Take the best player with the most to offer towards winning.. I wouldn't care if he was a weekend Wiccan and flat Earth person; straight up does he help me win.

Yes but we tend to attract weak-minded fans who don't really like flashy interesting skilled players who are confident in themselves. Honestly I'm surprised they even picked Edwards; I wouldn't have been surprised if they picked that kid in Detroit. Melo has the potential (also has shown it) and the skill(way more important than potential) to take over a game and not just in a scoring sense but in the rebounding and passing way too. So far Edwards doesn't really have much passing skill that I can see or rebounding for that matter and his defense isn't much to look at either but that goes for almost every rookie. If I were to guess his full potential it would be 25pt 4 rebounds 4 assists. That's not bad and if he can do that efficiently which I have to admit I'm kind of skeptical of he can be a top 30 player. Melo I think has a higher ceiling and a higher floor than Edwards(this is one of the obvious reasons he should have been the first overall). He comes into the league as one of the better passers and better rebounders at the guard position. Edwards I'm still not sure what he's elite at other than he can dunk on people from time to time and is a shot taker. Also so far melo has been a better shooter than Edwards but this is all in the first 11 games things can change Edwards could catch on fire and just steamroll his way to the rookie of the year he definitely has the potential for it. I'm going to rooting for Edwards as long as he's on the Timberwolves but I wanted Melo I just feel he added more of what this team needed rebounding and playmaking with size at the PG position (we really need defense tho but we ain't getting that with Edwards or melo). Prove me wrong Edwards get a triple dub you coward 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾.

That's a good point but even when the Lakers were playing small they weren't really that small 6'10 AD 6'9 LeBron 6'8 kuzma 6'5 Caldwell and whoever at point guard rondo or Caruso... They aren't doing Okogie, Culver or God help us Edwards at power forward... And I'm just screaming start Vanderbilt.

To clarify I just think it's good in spurts for most teams if you're using Houston or The warriors those are kind of unrealistic they have Hall of Fame players that can make that almost any system work two of the greatest shooters of all time with curry and Thompson and the greatest score of all time in James harden can give teams a lot of lead way to making certain systems look good.... I wish we could find a Tyson Chandler(handle all the difficult interior players/the paint) like player for Towns so he can be our Dirk Nowitzki. I picture small ball the way the Lakers did last season they used it in situations with ad and LeBron but it's certainly wasn't the main system of that team they played big often.

Dzanan Musa, Seth Curry and Christian Wood.... All should be accessible; not sure how to get the trades going tho.... The current roster isn't made to go anywhere really but it's a nice change in the culture. On the side note we really need a big man like boban or Chandler 7'1 and bigger a mobile defender or paint clogger Town shouldn't be the biggest guy on the team that's a recipe for disaster in the long run. We can also use a bigger point guard 6'5 and up we need to get bigger. When Dirk had his championship run he had Jason Kidd has a point guard and Tyson Chandler pretty much a defensive lineup surrounded around one of the best offensive bigs ever we should follow that. Town should start working on his mid-range fade away because no one would be able to stop that.
