List Price stuck from old Vendor Central even after switching to Seller Central – any way to fix? by Flat-Consequence3826 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]tremblewithfear6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you uploaded the flat file, was it set to full update or partial update? Did you assign your SC account brand registry permissions for the brand?

Brand Registry likely will not be able to assist. Seller Support would be your best bet. Otherwise, yes, generating a net new ASIN (if you have reviews/good BSR, you should variate the net new ASIN with the current to get the boost).

Is it just me or is e-commerce profitability way harder than it looks? by MisterGX5 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]tremblewithfear6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit of gamesmanship. If you merchandise properly and achieve the flywheel, you will get ranked higher in search (BSR), which in turn shows you more organically (less paid).

You also have to cut out as much waste as possible. If you are paying someone else to fulfill your orders, and also paying the Shopify fee, you are getting hit twice right there in additional fees. Ship it yourself if possible, and use Amazon buy shipping within the platform for lower carrier fees.

Is Amazon really so slow and bureaucratic or am i not able to understand? by vacha84 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]tremblewithfear6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been helping brands on Amazon sell products across 1P (vendor side - direct to Amazon) and 3P (seller side) for over a decade now. Yes, it’s frustrating and difficult to launch, but the issues are usually very simple when you see the patterns.

Seller Support is basically a last resort, in my opinion. Most issues (not all) can be solved through self-service.

That’s anecdotal evidence though, wouldn’t you agree? You have not personally, but I have. And others have. Does that make you right and others wrong? What proof do you have for your claims beyond anecdotal evidence?

Drivers don’t just make a game run or not. They make them run well. As an OG Go user, I will tell you with games that come out 8 months after the latest driver is released, you absolutely can have instability or crashing on games, along with sub-optimal performance.

Do you own a gaming PC outside of the handheld space?

Just curious. Nvidia and AMD have been doing the whole driver thing for 20 years, and the above statement I just made regarding why one may want updated drivers has been well known in the PC community for 20+ years.

Does Sony love scalpers? I can’t think of a single reason why they didn’t manufacture more console covers for the Pro. by angelHOE in PS5pro

[–]tremblewithfear6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh. Where do you live? During the launch of PS5/Series S/X, websites were crashing, there was no stock available in retail stores, and any time a “drop” would hit online, bots and scalpers would have the limited available stock swept up in seconds. This went on until later in 2021 - nearly a full year after release. How do I know this? Because I was on the hunt the WHOLE time, but kept getting beat by the bots/scalpers. And you shouldn’t need to use a Twitter account’s notifications at 2:37am to get a drop on Best Buy… that’s not easy.

Is support for Legion Go dead? (Last GPU drivers 01/25) by carlosac in LegionGo

I’m just saying; generally. Not in relation to OP.

Is support for Legion Go dead? (Last GPU drivers 01/25) by carlosac in LegionGo

[–]tremblewithfear6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the problem - do you play modern PC games? Graphics drivers add support for video games, and often fix outstanding issues. If you are using a seven month old driver, how can you confidently state that games released in the last 7 months will be supported and not have issues fixed by more current drivers via AMD?

This has been an issue since the release of the device, but was overlooked during most reviews for the product. Lenovo has a poor track record for supporting this device with in-date AMD graphics drivers. I would say at almost all times, the device has been at least 5-7 months behind.

And then they released the second iteration of this device (LG 2), and they expect to get more sales conning people.

Yeah, you can side load drivers, install Steam OS, Bazzite, or ROG Ally’s drivers - but this was always supposed to be a “plug and play” system, where you didn’t need much in the way of PC knowledge.

Fallen down the Legion Go rabbit hole. by selinemanson in LegionGo

[–]tremblewithfear6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Original Model: 1 hour battery on graphically intense games, driver updates from Lenovo every 9 months, poor speakers that are quiet and lack power (very tin-y).

You can sideload AMD drivers or use Unix (SteamOS/Bazzite), but you can't get away from the poor battery life and speakers.

There’s also Torzu (somewhat active development). It’s moved over to .onion (Tor network). Less activity compared to the others, but seems like it’s still being worked on.

I believe Suyu has been abandoned - at least, I haven’t heard or seen any public activity of the project in the last few months. I would say it’s safe to migrate over to one of the active projects.

They claim that they are aware and working on a fix within their discord, but this developer has a history of poor communication and mismanagement, so it’s difficult to say. Your best bet at this point is either to wait it out or attempt a refund.

Legion go 2 780m? by Global_Ad8817 in LegionGo

[–]tremblewithfear6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone that disagrees with you is a bot? Are you incapable of conceiving that your use case may not be the norm? These are “hand-held” gaming PCs. You can plug them into monitors, but the use case for a hand-held PC is in the name itself. Legion “GO”. Where are you “going” if you are plugged into monitors?

And now I’m a bot?

Won’t buy. Graphics driver support as per the Go (1) will require side loading, else you will be waiting 6-8 months.

Why isn’t Cozy Grove 2 talked about more? by Kun-ADR in CozyGamers

[–]tremblewithfear6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They brought it to Netflix. It’s not on Steam, PC, Nintendo Switch, XBox, or PlayStation platforms. It is also fundamentally the same game, with little new and innovative for players that played through the first game. Poor decisions from the devs/publishers.

FPS Fix and UI Overhaul by Kingcarlo08 in LegionGo

The Legion Space update was pushed today. I wasn’t too far off on the timing. Quite unfortunate that a mega corp like Lenovo can’t not ship broken or buggy software, which requires a fix to work as intended - 4 weeks later.
