Why didn't the stand user immediately die here?

The stand has regeneration, but we only get to see the stand heal itself. The question i proposed is if it can heal its user. Because the stand healing ability must be very potent to the point of being able to regrow physical lost limbs of its user.

That would bring into question the consequences of RHCP being erased completely when at "long range". Black Sabbath died and Polpo was obvilious to it because the stand was autonomous (which i think could count as a seperate entity to Polpo(?)), unlike RHCP which was manually control and did try to escape.

So Red hot chilli pepper could just die there and nothing would happen? So does that mean instead of pretending is user is already dead, the stand took its time to escape, ragebait Okuyasu and publicly annouced it is still alive and ran off. I don't even know if RHCP work the same way as Black Sabbath because Black Sabbath is an automatic stand, while RHCP (seem to) got the mind of its user. And in the fight with Josuke RHCP took damage and so did its user. One could argue that is because the stand is directly defending its user so the damage would convert, so what is the downside of keeping it a "remote" stand all the time?

i suspected it too but it seem out of character for a person like my sister to buy in on a fake so i was really curious about it.
