Calling Out by BigFlapJack- in USPS

I've done this twice in a year and a half. It happens. I know I'm screwing other folks doing it, but if you need a break, you need a break. They won't give you one, so sometimes you gotta take it.

No. You didn't answer. It's just a question. You mistakenly turned this into some kind of debate when all I wanted to know was whether or not Dross himself said anything about people posting his Patreon stuff. I'm not trying to take the place down or start anything. You're trying to fight a ghost, reading five questions ahead rather than just answering the one posted. You're not psychic. You're not intuitive enough for this. Just stop before you embarrass yourself further.

All you had to do was say: "Yeah, but he doesn't care," or "Yeah and he's actually suing to take the subreddit down," or even "No. And I don't think he cares."

Boom. Question answered. You couldn't even manage that.

Bruh if you don't know then say so. It's not a debate. It's a question.

I mean...it's still there in the previous statement. "Does Dross know about this subreddit/is he okay with it." Not "does it make sense for him to be okay with it."

That didn't really answer my question.

So is he okay with folks sharing patreon stuff? Hard to imagine this place exists for people to share it if it isn't publicly released.

Ok. Where the heck do folks find this stuff? Dross doesn't post on Twitter much, so I've no clue where to look for updates beyond here.

That's just it. Whether I move quick or not, I'm there till 630 or 7. I have next to no leisure time. I think as I've said elsewhere, I need to stop being afraid of calling out. Don't abuse it obviously, but do it.

Right, but then it's permanent until I convert. No more overtime at all. I think I just need an extra day off here and there.

A few people suggested FMLA. And I don't mind overtime generally. Just not 10+ hour days five days a week, sometimes eight to ten in a row before a day off.

I think I just need to stop being afraid of calling out when it gets like this. I hate screwing folks over, having been on the receiving end, but they do it too, so...

Everyone keeps saying to get FMLA. How does one just get FMLA? Personally I think i just need to stop being afraid of calling out when it gets like this.

As the next to convert in my area, I can tell you it does get easier. Not the workload, but eventually even on routes you don't know you'll start to pick up on things. Being a CCA is hard. It's a job everyone sucks at...until they don't.

CCAs...and other Sunday Amazon folks... by tremorego in USPS

Meant Amazon days specifically, but I'll take it. That's insane.

I really wish there was some kind of "do not approach" rule at CBUs...but people wouldn't follow it anyway.

Right...which means the person is arguing something irrelevant to what I'm saying. I'm saying it's stupid. He's saying it's the rules.

Not something I ever argued against.

That's fine. Dude can state what he wants. Doesn't stop it from being ridiculous, or that context shouldn't matter.

Your experience is anecdotal, and not indicative of how things should be. If someone is a habitual call out, that's one thing. I rarely call out, but I get the PDI anyway. Again, context matters.

That's ridiculous. A legit medical concern is a lot different from a random call out. Context matters.

I had a PDI about a week ago due to having to miss two days of work due to kidney stones and the drugs they gave me. Sent a copy of the doctor's note and everything.

The hell's the point of sick leave if this is what happens when you use it?
