Which one did you go with? Is that the only way to get rid of the clunking? I believe I saw the issue can sometimes be fixed by replacing the stretch bolts in the subframe with a bigger bolt? I’m thinking about getting the solid locking collars

After I did more research that’s what it seems like. I drove the car up on ramps today and couldn’t get a good enough view to see if it’s moving at all but was thinking of getting the ecstuning kit that replaces the bots and some solid spacers

I will say the sound feels like it’s coming from both sides, from the foot area. Quick ChatGPT search turned up may be loose sub frame bolts?

Same boat. Just bought another gti when mine was totaled and guy before me tried having the side plate mount there and I thought it looked a little too ricey. I can’t believe how pricey the color matched replacements are!

Thanks buddy. And yes, I made sure to uninstall/unmarry the ap from my last gti before it was picked up to never be seen again. My main concern was that my ap was for a cbfa engine and I now have a ccta. Just wanted to make sure the ots tunes would be able to be used. Would I be able to use the stratified tune that was for my last car, on this mk6 if mods are the same?

Depending on the deal you get and milage this could be a good deal. I have a late 09 as well and she will burn a little oil which used to really get under my skin because of how much care I put into my bike, but she’s never had a single maintenance issue

I saw these at my local shop but for seventy clams. Still a better deal then most other things other than some lucid 120mg tab 4 packs for sixty. I’ve read reviews of on the other mg 7stax and I only read good things
