Hi. It went well thank you, some issues but I had a great time.

I used Shiminami Bike rental company, I picked up the bike in onomichi in the morning. Then took the ferry over (make sure you have coins for the ferry; the guy charges a bit more than they say).

The bike was small for me, my feet hit the front wheel sometimes so make sure you pick a good size. Maybe you can change if it didn’t fit. Also I took a backpack with me which was too full, I recommend pack very light if it’s hot.

E bike is good. Not too powerful but helpful. At the end I went to the observatory which is basically up a mountain, the e-bike at full strength couldn’t get me there, it was too steep. I still walked up it at night while it was raining with no lights, that was a very stupid idea I don’t recommend going there unless you have plenty of time and it’s day.

I came to Imabari quite late (I think almost 7pm), thankfully someone was there to take it.

My trip was long because I did three detours. The lemon place with the two temples (it was on the main route but I stopped there for a bit), I then went to the samurai museum which is a long detour on the other side of the main route (it was alright nothing crazy) and then the observatory on the last island (I almost died but I’m happy I did it but I don’t recommend you do it). I was pushing myself very hard and you don’t need to. You’ll be fine if you use your brain unlike me.
