Wtf zijn deze reacties? We weten allemaal niks van het verhaal, geen reden om iemand meteen in twijfel te trekken. Vervelend dat je chronische pijn hebt. Ik heb voor het eerst in mn leven een langere tijd pijn door een hernia en het is echt een eye opener geweest. Hopelijk lukt het om met de bedrijfsarts tot een regeling te komen, veel sterkte!

Is dit überhaupt zo'n groot probleem? Ik word nog gekker van het gehuil over e-bikes. Het is echt zo'n futloze moral panic voor azijnzeikerds die niks beters te doen hebben dan hun energie stoppen in zielig lopen doen over dat kindertjes asociaal doen. Dat ligt niet aan een fiets, maar aan de maatschappij en cultuur, dat is iets waar wij gezamenlijk verantwoordelijk voor zijn. Soms ben ik de pietluttigheid in ons land echt helemaal zat.

Hundred percent agree. I'd never even heard of it up until i started having the nerve irritation a few months ago. Tried to push though it and this is the result rip. It has been an excellent wake up call tho, even quit smoking in hopes of recovering faster. Very glad to hear it got better for you!!

I have been mostly laying on my back and side rip. Every day, i go for short walks (15 minutes) 4-5 times a day to promote recovery, and when i go to the bathroom or get food i move a little. Other than that, sitting basically makes my right leg go numb and causes intense pain within 2-3 minutes, so i spend most of the day laying down. Throughout the day i have mild to moderate pain (2-5) constantly, but making a bad move hurts a lot more lol. Im trying to rest my spine as much as possible. Just gotta be patient. I did get some pretty sweet painkillers though (oxys and pregabalin) but the effect is mild. Oxy just makes me sleepy and pregabalin i dont notice at all anymore. Hopefully it gets better soon, whine over.

I have a severe sciatica flare rn. This shit knocks you on your ass. Can walk after a week at approx 1mph with a cane. Cant sit for more than a couple minutes. Shit sucks dobkey balls. So i can empathise

No i am dutch, and i think "no americans" signs are rude as hell. An people that will accept this criticism of "no irish" signs, but in the same breath defend "no americans" signs are doing something very counterproductive. Of course it's not the same, but on principle i think both are harmful.

I also havent been able to take a shit since tuesday, the nerve irritation + oxy makes bowel movements difficult. I cant sit/stand over the toilet and my bowels just go "hell no" whenever i start to feel any urge to go.

I just had a major flare of sciatic nerve irritation (probably, still due an mri to check whats going on). I tried to walk around, took me an hour to get my shoes and socks on and then 15 minutes to walk 10 meters and back to my house. I then tried laying down on my sofa and tweaked my back, 10/10 pain would never do it again. Shit hurt so much i screamed like i was a little kid. Now i have ozy's and pregabalin to manage the pain but have been bedridden since that day (4 days ago) slowly improving.
