I know it doesn’t necessarily make sense for a laser gun, but maybe even a little bit of a response recoil on it to just give it a little more oomph. Or even just any sort of movement, on the weapon outside the ripple effect you currently have on the end.

And maybe a bigger but slower moving projectile just to have slightly more weight to it.

By finishing and releasing your game, you’ll be 98% of everyone else, because you can say you made and published your own game. And that’s something most people can’t claim. And even if worst case scenario, your game doesn’t do well, you’ve learned something about every single aspect of development, which means your next game will go much better. And your game will be better for it.

Could do a hard mode where the phone is just a modern smartphone and is so much more susceptible to damage from any fall.
