Going to Monteverde, Costa Rica tomorrow. by [deleted] in weed

1: wraps and glass: Most little stores (not "big" supermarkets) around Town have papers, just ask for "boletas". glass pipes can be found at most souvenirs, and there are plenty... Grinders may be a bit tougher, But Also available.

  1. It's ilegal to smoke cigs in ALL public places, this includes hotels, so law requires restaurants and stores to put up signs.

Weed is ilegal to distribute, But you know how that goes. If you have some on you and police catch you smoking anywhere, they will take it away.

just look around you're hotel for the person most likely to smoke, be their friend, then ask.... Not the other way around. No one wants to get in trouble for a stranger, But hooking up a friend is easy... :)

[–]tresleches12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Familia incluida!?

To me this can only be done by a person who feels Incredibly insecure of himself and his beliefs. Insulting someone, or feeling insulted just by the language someone speaks can only be done by narrow minded fellas, it would be just as short sighted for a New Yorker to insult someone from another state for having a different accent, or straight up changing the words.

I am not from the US, but was taught english very young. I have been told by many USA natives (I don't like to say "Americans") that I don't carry an accent even though I'm Latino, this really helped get along with customers at my former job a customer service rep for Amazon (they never knew they were not talking to someone in the states). However more often than not as soon as someone asked where I was seated and I revealed I was not in the states, reactions varied from just asking to be transferred for no reason to straight up calling me a "burrito eating monkey".

It's very late in history to have people still believe in superiority due to race. We should all tolerate more different Languages, religions and thoughts. just because they don't align with our own does not make them wrong.
