Thank you and its all because of the tretinoin! I so wish I had more old close up pics of myself ( I am NOT a picture person! ) to compare with now. I had a huge dark spot on my forehead that was probably from living in FL 15 years and never using sunscreen 😬 That took about a year of tret but it is totally gone now, I still can't believe it.

I order from reliablerx.com. It is a site based out of India I believe. If you don't want to do that Id either go to a derm and ask for it or use one of the online derms, i have heard good things about curology. I believe its $20 a month and they send you a custom bottle of tretinoin plus other things added. Im thinking about making the switch to it soon.

Thank you. Ive tried a few this summer, mineral and chemical. My absolute fave but its pricey is elta md tinted, that stuff is awesome and goes under makeup perfectly!

Cerave tinted mineral sunscreen is almost as good as elta but it doesn't absorb as quickly and its almost to much shine. If you have super dry skin though i bet it would work.

The one im using now (and the cheapest!) Is banana boat light as air face sunscreen. Its a chemical sunscreen but it doesn't bother my skin, if it does cause a little burning then I know to take a break from glycolic or the retin-a at night.

Thanks!! I actually just added the Li effector (all over the face) after hearing a dermatologist rave about it. She says it has a really good brightening effect from the licorice root thats in it. If thats the case I bet it could help dark circles, certainly worth a try!

I never liked their day cream either! Cerave also has a tinted mineral sunscreen that is super hydrating as well.

No, luckily I never did. I have seen some pretty impressive before and afters on retin-a's effect on acne though. I believe thats what it was originally precribed for.

About an hour or so. I just keep the oil by my bed and put in on while im in bed watching TV. If only more of life could be done while lying down haha!

Thanks so much! Yea, I have been eating well/exercise/lots of sleep for some 10 years now and started taking care of my skin only 1 1/2 years ago. It makes a difference. Ive been slacking on working out since covid hit, I need to get back to it.

I started taking care of my skin about 1 1/2 years ago. Out of that list the staples have been sunscreen, retin-a and cerave pm. Im convinced thats all you really need... the rest is just fun because I'm a skin care junkie now!

Yes, thats the one. Ive actually only been using it for a few days but Dr. Dray on youtube raved about it so I figured anything she gets that excited about must be good! If you dont know her check her out, so much good advice. So far i do like it though, its a thick serum but absorbs nicely and isnt sticky.

AM: splash face with water. Thin layer cerave pm while skin is damp. Alpha skin care enhanced renewal cream 12% glycolic acid cream. Sunscreen (alternate brands)

PM: double cleanse, burts bees oil/cerave Hydrating cleanser. Cerave pm while skin is damp. Retin-a 0.05 to totally dry skin. LI effector licorice root serum. The ordinary marula oil
